Rasstriga americana

Taxonomy
Rasstriga americana was named by Aristov and Rasnitsyn (2012). Its type specimen is FMNH 26367, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Mazon Creek (FMNH collection), which is in a Westphalian D deltaic mudstone in the Carbondale Formation of Illinois. It is the type species of Rasstriga.
