Novogonatodus kasantsevae
Taxonomy
Novogonatodus kasantsevae was named by Long (1988). It is not extant. Its type specimen is NMVP 160862, a partial skeleton (Almost complete fish without dorsal cranium and caudal fin). Its type locality is Bridge Creek, which is in a Tournaisian fluvial horizon in the Snowy Plains Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Novogonatodus.
