Taxonomy
Paguristes florae was named by Collins et al. (1995). Its type specimen is MAB k.1031 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Vroenhoven-Riemst, which is in a Maastrichtian carbonate limestone in the Maastricht Formation of Belgium.
