Taxonomy
Latiflexa tumida was named by Koczyrkevicz (1984). Its type specimen is BPI 706-261, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sudoverf' Village, Cyrolexis ussuricum beds, Primorye, which is in a Capitanian carbonate limestone in the Chandalaz Formation of the Russian Federation.
