Taxonomy
Martinia elongata was named by Waagen (1883). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Musakheyl, reddish marble, Salt Range (Warth coll), which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Wargal Formation of Pakistan.
