Rigattoptera ornellasae
Taxonomy
Rigattoptera ornellasae was named by Pinto (1996). Its type specimen is CORD-PZ-2101, a wing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Bajo de Veliz (CORD collection), which is in a Kasimovian/Gzhelian floodplain siltstone in the Bajo de Veliz Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Rigattoptera.
