Lepismophlebia platymera

Taxonomy
Lepisma platymera was named by Scudder (1890). Its type specimen is 1693, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Florissant (MCZ Collection), which is in a Chadronian lacustrine - large shale in the Florissant Formation of Colorado. It is the type species of Lepismophlebia.

It was recombined as Mesobaetis platymera by Demoulin (1956); it was recombined as Lepismophlebia platymera by Demoulin (1968) and Hubbard and Savage (1981).
