Diploria bowersi

Taxonomy
Maeandra bowersi was named by Vaughan (1917) [Originally attributed to Vaughan by Arnold 1906, p. 22.]. It is not extant. Its type locality is Carrizo Creek, which is in a Pliocene perireef or subreef limestone/sandstone in the Imperial Formation of California.

It was recombined as Diploria bowersi by Budd and Johnson (1999) and López-Pérez (2005).
