Thorax, abdomen, and first two post-abdominal chambers with outer layer of irregular polygonal pore frames. Remaining post-abdominal chambers with very thin costae between each row of pore frames.
Original remarks: Crubus firmus, n. sp., differs from C. chengi, n. sp , by having a more conical test with a less massive horn, and by having less massive irregular pore frames on the earlier chambers.
