Taxonomy
Stylangia panamensis was named by Vaughan (1919). It is not extant. Its type locality is Vaughn Station 601 - Empire [Emperador Limestone], which is in an Aquitanian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Culebra Formation of Panama.
