Taxonomy
Camarocarcinus obtusus was named by Jakobsen and Collins (1979). It is not extant. Its type locality is Klintebjerg, which is in a Selandian transition zone/lower shoreface sandstone in the Lellinge Greensand Formation of Denmark.
