Taxonomy
Olethroblatta tomiensis was named by Becker-Migdisova (1961). Its type specimen is PIN 840/490, a tegmen, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Poryvaeskiy Rudnik (PIN collection 840), which is in an Artinskian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Ishanovskaya Formation of the Russian Federation.
