Protocupoides acer
Taxonomy
Tricupes acer was named by Rohdendorf (1961). Its type specimen is PIN 673/357, an elytra, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Sokolova II (PIN collection 673), which is in a Wuchiapingian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Gramoteinskaya Formation of the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Protocupoides acer by Kirejtshuk (2020).
