Taxonomy
Scytalocrinus crassibrachiatus was named by Moore and Strimple (1973). It is not extant. Its type specimen is SUI 33161 (dorsal cup). Its type locality is Braggs Mountain, Hwy 10 (Loc. 2), which is in a Morrowan marine limestone/shale in the Bloyd Formation of Oklahoma.
