Taxonomy
Paragalathea crenarvina was named by Robins et al. (2016). Its type specimen is NHMW 20007z0149/0069, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ernstbrunn quarries, which is in a Tithonian/Tithonian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Ernstbrunn Formation of Austria.
