Bournelyreidus eysunesensis

Taxonomy
Hemioon eysunesensis was named by Collins and Wienberg Rasmussen (1992). Its type specimen is MGUH 21.592, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ikorfat, 550 m above sea level, which is in a Campanian marine shale in Greenland. It is the type species of Bournelyreidus.

It was recombined as Bournelyreidus eysunesensis by van Bakel et al. (2012), Karasawa et al. (2014) and Schweitzer et al. (2018).
