Taxonomy
Strongylocrinus hansoni was named by Moore and Strimple (1973). It is not extant. Its type specimen is SUI 33169 (dorsal cup). Its type locality is 1 mile south Muskogee (Loc. 17), which is in a Morrowan marine limestone/shale in the Bloyd Formation of Oklahoma.
