Ohiocaris is a genus. It is not extant. It is the type genus of Ohiocarididae.
It was assigned to Ohiocarididae by Brooks et al. (1969); to Archaeostraca by Sepkoski (2002); and to Pephricaridina by Briggs et al. (2004).
