Platytrochus dominicensis

Taxonomy
Smilotrochus dominicensis was named by Vaughan and Hoffmeister (1925). It is not extant. Its type locality is Gabb collection, which is in a Miocene marine horizon in the Dominican Republic.

It was recombined as Dominicotrochus dominicensis by Wells (1937); it was recombined as Platytrochus dominicensis by Cairns (1997).
