Allorisma altirostrata

Taxonomy
Allorisma altirostrata was named by Meek and Hayden (1858). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is East for of Grasshopper Creek (= Delaware River) at Osawkee village, which is in a Virgilian carbonate limestone/shale in the Foraker Limestone Formation of Kansas.

It was recombined as Sedgwickia altirostrata by Meek and Hayden (1864); it was recombined as Exochorhynchus altirostratus by Astaf'yeva-Urbaytis (1981).
