Taxonomy
Stilobezzia (Acanthohelea) dominicana was named by Szadziewski and Grogan (1998). Its type specimen is RYSC 7a, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Dominican amber (R. Szadziewski coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.
