Taxonomy
Antiquaphis similis was named by Heie (1967). Its type specimen is A-93 and is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Danish Amber (University of Copenhagen ZMUC, NHMD Collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Denmark.
It was recombined as Elektraphis similis by Steffan (1968); it was recombined as Schizoneurites similis by Heie and Wegierek (2011).
