Antarctidromia was named by Forster (1985). It is not extant. Its type is Antarctidromia inflata.

It was assigned to Decapoda by Sepkoski (2002); and to Homolodromiidae by Schweitzer et al. (2010) and Schweitzer et al. (2012).
