Bartethusa hepatica
Taxonomy
Bartethusa hepatica was named by Quayle and Collins (1981). Its type specimen is BM In.61704, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Horizon A3, Christchurch Bay, which is in a Bartonian coastal sandstone in the Barton Clay Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Bartethusa.
