Taxonomy
Calappa earlei was named by Withers (1924). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 6967, Crocus Bay, which is in a Burdigalian/Serravallian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Anguilla Formation of Anguilla.
