Calappella quadrispina

Taxonomy
Calappella quadrispina was named by Rathbun (1918). Its type specimen is USNM 324238, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 6020a, Canal Zone, which is in an Aquitanian marine shale/mudstone in the Culebra Formation of Panama. It is the type species of Calappella.
