Taxonomy
Binkhorstia was named by Noetling (1881) [Sepkoski's age data: K Maes-u]. It is not extant. Its type is Dromilites ubaghsi.

It was assigned to Decapoda by Sepkoski (2002); to Torynommidae by Schweitzer et al. (2010); and to Longusorbiidae by Schweitzer and Feldmann (2011).
