Locality information indeterminate. Information provided states: Pliocene Coral Rock 30m- 5m (100 ft) level; Gibbons, Barbados
Taxonomy
Herbstia exserta was named by Collins and Morris (1976). Its type specimen is BMNH In. 61199 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gibbons, 30.5 m elevation, which is in a Pleistocene reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Coral Rock Formation of Barbados.
