Taxonomy
Galeorhinus huberensis was named by Case (1981). It is not extant. Its type specimen is USNM 23550, a tooth. Its type locality is Huber Kaolin Quarry, which is in an Eocene marine claystone in the Jacksonian Formation of Georgia.
