Branchiolambrus altus
Taxonomy
Branchiolambrus altus was named by Rathbun (1908). Its type specimen is USNM 165478, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 4859, Wagon Wheel Mountain, which is in a Burdigalian marine shale in the Temblor Formation of California. It is the type species of Branchiolambrus.
