Apachelytron transversum
Taxonomy
Apachelytron transversum was named by Carpenter and Kukalová (1964). Its type specimen is Paleontology, Charles University 47/1964, an exoskeleton (almost complete insect), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Obora, southern edge of ravine, which is in an Asselian lacustrine - small shale in the Letovice Formation of the Czech Republic. It is the type species of Apachelytron.
