Taxonomy
Binkhorstia euglypha was named by Collins et al. (1995). Its type specimen is MAB k.1033 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Blom quarry, Berg en Terblijt (upper Meerssen Mb), which is in a Maastrichtian carbonate limestone in the Maastricht Formation of the Netherlands.
