Taxonomy
Glaessnerella was named by Wright and Collins (1972) [Sepkoski's age data: K Haut K Ceno]. It is not extant. Its type is Glaessnerella spinosa.

It was assigned to Longodromitidae by Schweitzer et al. (2010).
