Taxonomy
Arctohungarites evolutus was named by Vavilov (1978). Its type specimen is VNIGRI 1/820, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kendey River, kotchetkovi zone, which is in a Bithynian marine siliciclastic in the Russian Federation.
