Taxonomy
Parawentzelella gubleri was named by Fontaine (1961). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cambodge (Gubler collection), which is in a Wordian/Capitanian marine limestone in Cambodia.

It was recombined as Parawentzelella (Parawentzelella) gubleri by Minato and Kato (1965).
