Taxonomy
Lambropsis was named by Lorenthey (1909) [Sepkoski's age data: T Eo-m]. It is not extant. Its type is Lambropsis wanneri.

It was assigned to Brachyura by Glaessner (1969); to Decapoda by Sepkoski (2002) and Schweitzer et al. (2010); and to Actaeinae by Feldmann et al. (2011) and Schweitzer et al. (2021).
