Ocalina floridana

Taxonomy
Ocalina floridana was named by Rathbun (1929). Its type specimen is USNM 370956, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Florida Lime quarry, SW city limits of Ocala, which is in a Priabonian carbonate limestone in the Ocala Formation of Florida. It is the type species of Ocalina.
