Zanthopsis cretacea

Taxonomy
Zanthopsis cretacea was named by Rathbun (1902). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Parahyba do Norte, which is in a Maastrichtian marine limestone in Brazil. It is the type species of Palaeoxanthopsis.

It was recombined as Palaeoxanthopsis cretacea by Schweitzer et al. (2010), Luque et al. (2017) and Schweitzer et al. (2018).
