Taxonomy
Actaea cretacea was named by Rathbun (1935). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 4 1/2 mi SE of Fort Worth, 1/4 mi S of International Great Northern Railway..., which is in an Albian marine claystone in the Pawpaw Formation of Texas.
