Xanthosia delicata

Taxonomy
Xanthosia delicata was named by Fraaye (1996). Its type specimen is MAB k1960 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is ENCI Quarry, 6 m above base of Meerssen Member, which is in a Maastrichtian carbonate limestone in the Maastricht Formation of the Netherlands. It is the type species of Xanthosioides.

It was recombined as Xanthosioides delicata by Collins and Breton (2009), Schweitzer et al. (2010), Schweitzer et al. (2012) and Schweitzer et al. (2021).
