Taxonomy
Falconoplax bicarinella was named by Collins and Morris (1976). Its type specimen is BMNH In. 61353 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Spa Estate, which is in an Eocene/Eocene marine horizon in the Scotland Beds Formation of Barbados.
