Branchioplax albertii
Taxonomy
Branchioplax albertii was named by De Angeli and Beschin (2002). Its type specimen is MCZ I.G. 286340, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cava Main di Arzignano, which is in a Lutetian carbonate limestone in Italy.
