It was assigned to Galatheinae by Bishop (1985); to Galathea by Muller and Collins (1991); to Decapoda by Sepkoski (2002); and to Galatheidae by De Angeli and Beschin (2008), Schweitzer et al. (2010), De Angeli et al. (2010) and Beschin et al. (2018).
