Conexicoxa brachycephala
Taxonomy
Notocupes brachycephalus was named by Ponomarenko (1994). Its type specimen is PIN 3791/3811, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bakhar, outcrop 268/14 (PIN collection 3791), which is in a Bajocian/Bathonian lacustrine claystone in the Bakhar Formation of Mongolia.
It was recombined as Zygadenia brachycephala by Kirejtshuk (2020); it was recombined as Conexicoxa brachycephala by Strelnikova and Yan (2023).
