Notocupes mongolicus
Taxonomy
Notocupes mongolicus was named by Ponomarenko (1994). Its type specimen is PIN 3559/6028, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bon Tsagaan (PIN collection 3559, outcrop 23/22), which is in a Barremian lacustrine siliciclastic in the Ulan-Argalant Formation of Mongolia.
It was recombined as Zygadenia mongolica by Kirejtshuk (2020).
