Notocupes elegans
Taxonomy
Notocupes elegans was named by Ponomarenko (1994). Its type specimen is PIN 3559/1624, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bon Tsagaan (PIN collection 3559, outcrop 36/3), which is in an Aptian lacustrine siliciclastic in the Dzun-Bain Formation of Mongolia.
It was recombined as Zygadenia elegans by Kirejtshuk (2020).
