Taxonomy
Pseudopemphix was named by Wust (1903) [Sepkoski's age data: Tr Olen-u Tr Anis]. It is not extant. Its type is Pseudopemphix albertii.

It was assigned to Pemphicidae by Schweitzer et al. (2010); and to Litogastroidae by Karasawa et al. (2012).
