Taxonomy
Pseudorhombila was named by Milne-Edwards (1834) [Sepkoski's age data: T Mi R]. It is extant. It is the type genus of Pseudorhombilidae.

It was assigned to Decapoda by Sepkoski (2002); and to Pseudorhombilidae by Schweitzer and Karasawa (2004), Karasawa and Schweitzer (2006), Schweitzer et al. (2010) and Schweitzer et al. (2021).
