Orthomylacris pluteus
Taxonomy
Paromylacris pluteus was named by Scudder (1895). Its type specimen is Coll Lacoe 2040 a, a tegmen (fragment), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Butler mine in Pittston, which is in a Westphalian D terrestrial shale/anthracite in the Pottsville Formation of Pennsylvania.
It was recombined as Orthomylacris pluteus by Handlirsch (1906), Handlirsch (1906), Handlirsch (1920) and Handlirsch (1922).
