Kotlaia bistriata

Taxonomy
Orthotichia bistriata was named by Reed (1944). Its type specimen is GSI 16771, a valve (ventral valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is West side of ridge 1185, 10 feet below top, SE of Musa Khel, Salt Range, which is in a Capitanian marine horizon in the Amb Formation of Pakistan.

It was recombined as Kotlaia bistriata by Crippa and Angiolini (2012).
